Mendocino County Has Fallen Off in Terms of Housing Units Occupied by Owners by 2.3%, Between 2000 and 2010

The 2010 Census reports Mendocino County, California decreased in total number housing units by 3,386, or 9%, (since the 2000), while the State of California increased in housing units by 1,465,532, or 11%.

Measured against the United States, Mendocino County has a high amount of unoccupied residential real estate. 5,378, or 13.3%, of housing units are currently vacant in Mendocino County, California.
