Hartford County Has Escalated in Property Ownership by 1.3%, According to the 2010 Census

The 2010 Census reports Hartford County, Connecticut decreased in total real estate dwellings by 21,227, or 6%, (since the 2000 census), during the same time, the State of Connecticut increased in housing units by 101,916, or 7%.

Compared to the US, Hartford County has a very high level of vacancy in residential housing. 23,395, or 6.3%, are reported as unoccupied units in Hartford County, Connecticut.
