Dougherty County Has Moved Down in Residential Property Ownership by 5.4%, Since the Year 2000

The 2010 Census reports Dougherty County, Georgia decreased in total real estate dwellings by 1,145, or 3%, (since the 2000 census), during the same time, the State of Georgia increased in total real estate dwellings by 807,064, or 20%.

Measured against the US, Dougherty County has a high amount of unoccupied real estate units. 4,293, or 10.5%, are reported as unoccupied units in Dougherty County, Georgia.
