Franklin County Has Decreased in Residential Real Estate Ownership by 6.5%, Since Reported Values in 2000

According to data from the 2010 Census, Franklin County, Georgia decreased in number of total housing units by 1,250, or 13%, (since the 2000), while the State of Georgia increased in housing dwelling units by 807,064, or 20%.

Measured against the US, Franklin County has a medium amount of unoccupied residential real estate. 2,013, or 19.1%, of housing units are currently vacant in Franklin County, Georgia. From 2000 to 2010, owner-occupied residential properties in Franklin County have decreased by 6.5%.
