Effingham County Has Rose in Terms of Ownership of Real Estate by 0.9%, From 2000 to 2010

The recent 2010 Census Bureau reports Effingham County, Illinois decreased in housing units by 611, or 4%, since the 2000 Census-- the State of Illinois increased in residential properties by 411,100, or 8%.

When Measured against the US, Effingham County has a low level of vacancy in housing units. 1,055, or 7.2%, currently are unoccupied in Effingham County, Illinois. Among the 1,055 vacant residential properties, 15.6% are listed to be sold, while 25.5% are reported as being listed for rented.

                                     

Owner-occupied units from 2000 to 2010 in Effingham County have increased by 0.9%.
