Lyon County Has Fallen Off in Property Ownership by 3.2%, According to the 2010 Census

The 2010 Census reports Lyon County, Nevada decreased in housing units by 8,268, or 58%, (since the 2000), while the State of Nevada increased in residential properties by 346,357, or 30%.

Compared to the US, Lyon County has a low level of vacancy in residential housing. 2,739, or 12.1%, of properties are currently vacant in Lyon County, Nevada. Within these 2,739 unoccupied units, 25.4% are listed for sale, while 23.6% are trying to be rented.
