McClain County Has shrunk in Housing Ownership by 2.2%, As Reported in the 2010 Census

The recent 2010 Census Bureau reports McClain County, Oklahoma decreased in total real estate dwellings by 2,807, or 25%, (since the 2000 census), during the same time, the State of Oklahoma increased in housing dwelling units by 149,978, or 9%.

Measured against the US, McClain County has a very low level of vacancy in housing units. 1,105, or 7.9%, of residential units are vacant in McClain County, Oklahoma.
