Columbia County Has Fallen Off in Terms of Ownership of Real Estate by 1.7%, According to the 2010 Census

According to the 2010 Census, Columbia County, Oregon decreased in housing units by 3,126, or 18%, since 2000. During the same period, the State of Oregon increased in residential properties by 222,853, or 13%.

Compared to the US, Columbia County has a very low level of vacancy in residential real estate. 1,515, or 7.3%, of properties are currently vacant in Columbia County, Oregon. Of these 1,515 unoccupied units, 21.5% are on the real estate market for sale, while 22.0% are listed for lease.

                                     

From 2000 to 2010, owner-occupied residential properties in Columbia County have decreased by 1.7%.
