Walworth County Has Deteriorated in Property Ownership by 0.3%, (2010 Census)

The recent 2010 Census Bureau reports Walworth County, Wisconsin decreased in total number housing units by 7,748, or 18%, since the 2000 Census. At the same time, the State of Wisconsin increased in total real estate dwellings by 303,214, or 12%.

When Measured against the US, Walworth County has a very low amount of unoccupied residential properties. 11,832, or 23.0%, of residential units are vacant in Walworth County, Wisconsin. Of the 11,832 unoccupied properties, 8.0% are on the real estate market to be sold, while 9.5% are trying to be rented.
